Vagnier Roots... the basics

My mother, Agnes Loretta Whitesell Hope was the daughter of William Henry and Agnes (Vagnier) Whitesell. My story will begin before the immigration of the Vagniers from France to America.
Nicholas and Marie Vagnier both born in the late 1700's of Foug, Meurthe-et-Moselle, France came to the US with their two son's Julius and Louise aboard a ship named "Le Sully".
They departed from Havre, France and arrived in a New York port on May 13, 1843. The Family moved to Lancaster, Ohio in Fairfield County.

Julius Vagnier was born December 31, 1835 in Foug, Meurthe-et-Moselle, France. He died June 26, 1914 and is buried at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Columbus, Ohio

Susan Schnieder Vagnier
Julius Vagnier married Susan (Beuchler) Schnieder (Snyder) on August, 18, 1873 in Lancaster, Ohio. Susan was born to Adam and Catherine (Matheny) Schnieder (Snyder) somewhere in Germany on October 1, 1840 and died on December 23, 1923.She is Buried at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Columbus, Ohio.

Julius and Susan had 10 children:
Joseph -1864 - June, 11,1921
